Simeon Hinkov, Attorney-at-law completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Union Law at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
The Master’s program has rich tradition and includes intensive study and analysis of both the theoretical statements of European Union Law and the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
In the course of the tuition, the participants of the program had the opportunity to attend the lecture courses of the most established Bulgarian specialists in this field, as well as professors from the University of Lorraine, France, including Prof. Etienne Criqui, Prof. Yves Petit and Prof. Jean-Denis Mouton.
Having successfully completed the Master’s program, Simeon Hinkov will obtain a diploma from the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, as well as a specialization certificate from the University of Lorraine, France.
The education in the program provides a comprehensive knowledge of all the main legal aspects of European integration: political and legal history and philosophy of integration, EU institutional system, EU legal system, EU citizenship and human rights, EU judicial system, Internal market and freedom of movement, legal regime of competition in the EU, common EU policies for cohesion and growth, EU private international law, EU foreign relations, Area of freedom, security and justice, Economic and monetary union, energy and current issues of the integration process.
