The Sofia Regional Court’s Criminal Division as well as the Sofia Regional Prosecutor’s Office are now housed in a new building on 23, Gen. M. D. Skobelev Str. in the capital.

Up until now the two institutions used the court’s old building on 6, Dragan Tsankov Blvd. However, the increased number of cases has entangled the magistrates as well as the citizens and their attorneys.

Already in 2015 the Regional Court’s Civil Division was moved on 54, Tsar Boris III Blvd. and this fall, the Criminal Division of the court and the Regional Prosecutor’s Office headed for the so-called “Military National Palace of Culture”, located at 23, Gen. M. D. Skobelev Str.

The renovated building has 35 court rooms, 60 cabinets for the judges, 119 cabinets for the prosecutors and an underground parking lot with over 200 car spaces.
