Greater flexibility and reducing the administrative burden – these are only a part of the advantages of the staff leasing, discussed during the presentation “Staff Leasing – What is It and How It Could Benefit Business”. 

The event was organized by Stankov, Todorov, Hinkov & Spasov, Attorneys-at-Law in cooperation with CIG Bulgaria Ltd. and the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce. The seminar was specially intended for the members of the Chamber, which STHS is a part of.

Lectors on the event were Hristo Hinkov, Partner at Stankov, Todorov, Hinkov & Spasov, Attorneys-at-Law, Doychin Ivanov, an attorney with STHS and specialist in labour law and Mr. Zdravko Ivanov, owner and manager of CIG Bulgaria Ltd. – an enterprise which ensures staff leasing.

Numerous legal and practical issues were discussed in the seminar regarding the relationship between the enterprise ensuring temporary work (EETW), the enterprise-user and the employee. Hristo Hinkov analyzed the rights and obligations of the parties in these legal relationships, while Doychin Ivanov gave details about what are the requirements for EETW, the restrictions when renting personnel and the pros and cons of this activity. Mr. Zdravko Ivanov, owner of one of the recognized enterprises in the country which ensures temporary work, acquainted the audience with the labour market tendencies in Bulgaria, the practical application of staff leasing and in which sectors does this service find the largest application.

Due to questions from the audience, various topics such as tax aspects of staff leasing, posting employees in the country and in the EU, keeping confidentiality in these legal relationships and forming the price of EETW serves were discussed.
